Contract-Manufactured Product sales up 13% in the quarter

West 1Q Revenues: $415.7 million (+7%) 1Q Earnings: $43.6 million (-28%) Comments: Proprietary Products segment sales were $326.2 million, up 6%. The impact from the Venezuela deconsolidation negatively affected organic sales growth by 310 basis points. Sales growth was led by Generics, offset by a decline in Biologics and a decline in Pharma. Contract-Manufactured Products sales were $89.5 million in the quarter, up 13% despite the loss of a consumer-product contract manufacturing customer.
